University of Texas, Dallas
Bioengineering & Sciences Building

Completed in 20015, the Bioengineering & Sciences Building is a 223,000 square foot LEED Gold academic research building located on the campus of the University of Texas at Dallas. Positioned at the North end of the campus, the building links with an existing pedestrian pathway and forms a courtyard with its flanking wings, creating an informal gathering space and focal point. Public access to the courtyard is through the building’s atrium which links each floor vertically and allows visual connectivity between visitors, students, and research scientists.

The main purpose of the building is to provide spaces for the learning and research of the functions of the brain, nervous system, cell, and gene.
