Regis University, West Hall

We were presented with the challenge of transforming a mid-century academic dormitory into a completely different housing concept.  Regis University in Denver needed to increase their short-term housing stock and it was deemed most ecomomical to transform its existing West Hall into more of a hotel typology.  This involved modifications to the plan to increase the unit count, improvements to the entries on the East and West sides, the creation of a proper lobby space, and some general facade upgrades to give the building a touch of contemporary style.
