Oregon Coast Community College
Trades Training Center

Toledo, Oregon

The Oregon Coast Community College is in the fundraising stage of creating a new educational facility dedicated to training students in the metal fabrication trades.  The site for the new facility is in Toledo, Oregon, just a few miles inland from Newport.   The OCCC requested that the building include two large classrooms, two flexible shop spaces, a tool storage room, student break room and staff offices.

We positioned the building at the top of a gentle slope, nestled among native trees and oriented with a view of the small, charming coastal town of Toledo.

Flooded with natural light, the interior spaces will be both pleasant and functional for the many students who will spend their days immersed in the craft and science of metalwork training.
