Lockwood Carhart has the special ability to create design solutions over a wide range of business types.  We don’t specialize in specific project types because, well, that’s boring.   We are just as excited to design a hair salon as we are to design an office building, a museum, or a school.   We simply want to have a positive impact on the community and create beautiful and functional spaces no matter what the project type, no matter who the client.   We want to work with everyone.

Formation Hair is a business we could relate to because they also aim to serve everyone.  We created a space for them that is compact and efficient with an elegant simplicity.   The 900 square foot salon consists of a large cutting & styling room, a break room, and a bathroom.  The aesthetic is simple as well, with polished concrete floors, white walls and natural wood shelving and cabinetry.   The salon is also fully accessible to anyone with disabilities.
