Medford Water Commission

Presented here is a fresh vision for the new headquarters for the Medford Water Commission, an entity which supplies, operates and maintains all domestic water for the surrounding Rogue Valley.  The project site is a large swath of land adjacent to the Medford airport and bursting with native plant life and expansive views in all directions.  The proposed building design is an extensive single-story structure which integrates with the landscape in several ways, including semi-enclosed courtyards, common spaces with unobstructed views outward, and large light monitors which will illuminate the interior space and connect its occupants with the beauty of its surroundings.

The building program includes a public exhibition space, open office spaces, private offices, maintenance facilities, vehicle storage, a staff locker room, and much more.
