Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue

King City, Oregon

Station #35 for the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue will be located in King City, Oregon which is 30 miles south of Portland.
The new station has been designed to accommodate all the typical planning requirements for a suburban fire station as well as the unique aesthetic preferences of the management team which included such qualities as simplicity, economy, contemporary look and feel, strong graphic features and a strong civic presence. Functionally, the plan is organized at the ground level with apparatus bays, fitness room, clean turnout space and other support spaces. The second level includes a large kitchen, dining room, lounge, lockers, and quarters for a total of nine first-responders.
